Getting ready for a little fun in the sun, italian style...

Though on the first eve we cought cirque de soleil in a big spaceship tent outside the city center...

there's only one way to follow up seeing little chinese people twist themselves into pretzels...

that's right, boatloads of limoncello...

With my 'hayfever' face in full affect due to the recently sprung springtime, i thought it better to keep the cam focused on D, or the city, or both.

The italian justice system is so perilous that they celebrate literally EVERY anniversary of the police. Seriously, the 154th anniversary??

piazza del popollo

piazza navona

trevitrevitrevi

super dinner yumminess in the bustling trastevere... seriously, there must've been 5000 people that walked by us during our 2-hour dinner...

I like how the italians 'do' their nightlife in this district. Just grab a drink, and stand around in any open square. Simple, yet effective.

At this point the limoncella was getting a little bit to our heads...

Case in point...

The above shots were taken while we were just standing around on a random street corner for 15 minutes, for no particular reason...

'I am NOT going down those stairs if it means we are going back up them'

Via nazionale, around 2am

Our flight the next day was later in the day so we decided to see if the pope had anything to say to us...At first D wasn't really getting into the spirit of things...

But, you know, everyone has some piety in them somewhere

While i just had hayfever...

Roma roma you were as charming as ever... looking forward to next time...
